The Library of the Japan Foundation Japanese-Language Institute, Kansai both supports the invited overseas foreign-service officers and public officials, the participants in the Japanese Language programs from overseas, and the researchers both in Japan and abroad and opens up its collection of materials.
The collection has books introducing Japanese culture and society and collects information and materials about understanding Japan and fields related to Japan in multiple languages, and many Japanese books translated into a variety of languages.
This time, we have selected the three Best Readers from the Japanese-Language Programs for Foreign-Service Officers and Public Officials who borrowed the most books and magazines etc. from the Library during their eight-month program period from September 2017 to May 2018.
